A total of 65 miners were trapped in a mine, who were rescued by mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill. Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is inspired by a real-life hero, Late Jaswant Singh Gill, an engineer who led a challenging rescue mission to save trapped miners from a flooded coal mine.
Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is an impending Indian Hindi-language endurance spine chiller movie directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Pooja Entertainment. Written by by Vipul K Rawal, it depends on the Raniganj Coalfields breakdown of 1989, in West Bengal. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra.
