Cuttputlli Movie is Streaming now on Disney Plus Hostar , Akshay Kumar plays a cop who’s trying to hunt down a serial killer. He adopts a number of different strategies on this mission. This will be Akshay Kumar’s second OTT stint after Atrangi Re in 2021.
Cuttputlli Which Stars Akshay Kumar & Rakul Preet in Lead Role is the remake of South Suspense thriller Ratsasan which is liked my all the movie goers across India.
Here is Breakdown Review of Cuttputlli :
Remake : Average
One of the main drawback of Cuttputlli is that “Its a Remake” so It become less secretive because someway you know that who will be the killer eventually. Ratsasan had Mind Blogging Murder Mystery which was worthy enough to spin your mind. In this case you Have to watch Cuttputlli just to see the presentation & acting of the characters because you already know the murder mystery.
It Have Normal murder mystery ! You expect murder mystery movies to be the one in which you will be shocked by the climax.
Akshay Kumar have done Brilliant job & Rakul is looking average through out the movie.
Background Music:
Main Drawback of Cuttputlli is Ineffective Background Music. Movie like Cuttputlli or any other murder mystery background score plays a very important role but here in the case of Cuttputlli it have very ineffective background music which is below average.
Screenplay:
Poor screenplay & rushed scenes in the second half make the film less impactful.
The Keypoint of Murder Mystery movies are always the villains , Villains here should have been with strong screenplay. Where you have already watched Ratsasan you expect the villain to be atleast upto the mark of Ratsasan’s Villian. But here in the case of Cuttputlli Villian also is big disappointment.
So in total the movie seems to be Average Remake but it could have been made Brilliant. Remake with Good Screenplay , Good Background Music & proper Adaptation of Original Ratsasan.
You should watch it once for Akshay Kumar.
